First Team all CIF 2001 and 2002
First Team Mission League 2001 and 2002
Offensive MVP of the Mission League 2002
Selected in the 6th round 192 overall of the 2002 amateur baseball draft by the St. Louis Cardinals
Received a Scholarship to attend University of California at Irvine.

2003- led the short season rookie ball Appalachian League in hits with 75 hits, hitting .332
2004- Played in the Mid-West league (Low A) finishing third in the league hitting .316
2005- Played in Florida Sate League (High A) and Texas League (AA). Selected to the Florida Sate League All-Star Team. Finished the year hitting .308 with 18 HR's combined in the two leagues.
2006- AA Springfield hitting .277 with 11 HR's.
2007- AA Springfield .300 Hitter and Left Fielder
Career .305 minor league hitter.
Added to the St. Louis Cardinals 40 Man Roster in the winter of 2006
